Click to expand.ok, good question. The audio/midi setup is a handy tool that can be found in the applications/utility/ folder. Drag that sucker to your dock because it is very usefull. There in the midi tab you can engage the IAC bus. Unfortunately Traktor wont let midi pipe talk with it directly so you need to route the vci into midi pipe (this is already done for you, look at the top of the pipe) then the signal is hijacked, run through all the processing and comes out the IAC bus. Look at the last module in the midi pipe (this defines the output which is set to IAC bus) Now you just have to tell Traktor that your midi source is the IAC bus (no others) and you are good to go. I come from mixing vinyl and the last years with cd's, but like you said this is the future of djing! I understood you mix externally 3 outs with rme fireface 400. I'm still looking for a good firewire soundcard( +/- 400 euro), with 3out, headphones, booth monitor,and phono preamp (for ripping my 6000 records).

Is it a good option when mixing internally (macbookpro 2.2 ) with 4 decks, and a firewire 2out soundcard(presonus inspire also phono preamp, for ripping my 6000 records). What do you think about RME HDSP RPM, Then I have All options. 3 out, phono preamp,etc. What are the pro's & con's of internal/external mixing I hope you can help me further,because I want to be part of the Future!

Out of the list of commands in you template file as displayed in BMTP, which ones are related to just the jog wheels? It seems that i still get the same behavior in the jogs as before (jogs will not release track if kept spinning - even if you stop touching the conductive part), but it sounds a bit better. I just cant seem to find which ones on the list to deselect (i dont see corresponding note values that are present in traktors midi setup), and i have my own layout (sorry Ean, it's just not for me! ) thanks for this!
