The author Lucas Weber is a highly experienced marketing manager and product manager having worked with a number of Finnish (software) technology companies. Two weeks ago, we announced the first details related to the conference, and all ISPMA members received a save the date message detailing the event. Being a big fan of ISPMA and their projects, I actively started discussing this event with my friends working in product management in Russia, Finland, and other countries. It turned out that my friends know how to count money and they asked difficult questions to understand whether or not a trip to Frankfurt, Germany, in April for the Summit was worth it. I always knew the best way to understand the subject is to start explaining it to other people. So, in answering my friends’ tricky questions, I clarified for myself why ISPMA started this adventure with the Summit, and why I support this initiative with both hands.
