I did try to uninstall this adapter but it gets automatically reinstalled. I have also tired Windows Update but with no results. I have managed to find a solution and this may be applicable to other users.

Step 1: Go to and search for your display card. Step 2: Once you find the list, select the appropriate driver for windows 7 (WDDM) which are compatible with windows 8. Step 3: Download it. Run it and extract it to a specific folder. Step 4: Then go to Control Panel, then System, then Device Manager, then Display Adapter and right click Update device software.
