This only works on 4.0!!!!!!!!!!! Download bannerbomb installer, and install homebrew. Before you exitout of it, it shoud also say if you want to install dvdx.

DVDX is a homebrew application that installs a hidden 'channel' which was used by other homebrew applications to access home burned and factory pressed DVD content without the need for a modchip. As of HackMii Installer 0.7, DVDX is dead and has been superseded by the Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 itself. Dec 08, 2008  The DVDX installer instead will install a small, hidden, channel on your Wii that allows you to read DVDs on an unmodified system. It is not an installer for a patched IOS. You may however need one, depending on your system.

Install it and don't use any other dvdx installer. Download mplayerce from here it will be in a rar format, so i suggest using jzip to unzip it. Then put it in the apps folder on the root of your sd card 3. If you have done it right. On the homebrew channel, mplayerce should appear.

Now you have to install ios 249. 4.-Download and extract the package from here put it in your apps folder -Read the readme files and documentation.Copy over the folder entitled cIOS38″ to your SD card in the path SD:/Apps/ -Load the application from the homebrew channel.When prompted use cIOS 249.Choose network installation.
